THE PARADISE POLICE DEPARTMENT'S STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND VALUES The purpose of the Paradise Police Department is to serve the members of this community; to protect their lives, liberties, and property. We will strive to provide the people of this community with a sense of security, safety, and trust. We vow to vigorously pursue those who commit serious crimes against these people. We will respect the rights of those accused of committing crime, as well as be sensitive to those who have been victimized by crime. We will serve our community with integrity, honesty, dedication, loyalty, and professionalism, while striving for excellence in all that we do. We value our relationship with the members of our community. Our people are the department's most valuable assets. We will promote and maintain an atmosphere of mutual cooperation, understanding, and team work.
