| 2010-2015 CDBG Consolidated Plan - Public Input Needed |
2010-2015 Consolidated Plan and 2010-2011 Annual Plan Update: The Town of Paradise receives a Community Development Block Grant under the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The Town’s Consolidated Plan must be revised every 5 years; the Annual Action Plan is changed each year to reflect new budget appropriations and project allocations. In accordance with the Housing and Community Development Act (HCDA) of 1987, as amended, the primary objective of the Town of Paradise CDBG Program is the development of a viable urban community, including decent housing, a suitable living environment, and the expansion of economic opportunities, principally for persons of low/moderate income. To accomplish this objective, activities which 1) benefit low/moderate income persons, 2) aid in the elimination/prevention of slums or blight, 3) meet other urgent community development needs having particular urgency for which no other funds are available, will be given priority. Public participation is requested. Please attend one of the public hearings or submit written comments to Lauren Gill, Business & Housing Services, 5555 Skyway, Paradise, CA 95969 or email: lgill@townofparadise.com.
