Welcome to the Paradise Fire Department Operations Division.  The Paradise Fire Department operates from three fire stations: Station 1 located on Birch Street, Station 2 located on South Libby and Pearson Roads and Station 3 currently on Forest Service Road, co-located with Cal-Fire Station 35.  Each first line engine is staffed with a minimum of two personnel.  Each station has a reserve engine assigned to it.  Station 1 has three specialty apparatuses: Truck 1 - a 55 feet tall telesquirt; Rescue 7 - an Incident Command System (ICS) Type 3 Rescue; and Breathing Support 1 - an ICS Type 2 air supply trailer.

Station 1 also houses the administration offices of The Fire Chief, two Division Chiefs, one Administrative Assistant and one Clerk Typist.  Station 1 is the primary training facility for most department drills and has a hose tower that is also used for training.

The Operations Division, headed by Chief Main, is responsible for the maintenance, operations, budget and purchasing of all fire apparatus, equipment, communications and safety, and station maintenance.  Organizational committees meet to delegate the workload.  The apparatus committee for example, meets with the town mechanic to keep all apparatus in working order and write specifications for new apparatus.
