Solid Waste Franchise Print

In 2007 the 10-year Town franchise for the removal of solid waste, recyclable materials and yard waste was awarded through a highly competitive Request for Proposal (RFP) process to Northern Recycling and Waste Services.

 

Their services include the curbside collection of solid waste, recycling, and yard waste. This program assists the Town in meeting the required reduction of solid waste entering the landfill, and it does so in an efficient and cost effective manner.
