PARADISE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY

SEPTEMBER 13, 2005

 

The Regular Meeting of the Paradise Redevelopment Agency was called to order by Vice Chairman Dresser at 8:55 p.m. in the Town Hall Council Chambers, located at 5555 Skyway, Paradise, Ca.

AGENCY DIRECTORS PRESENT: Steve "Woody" Culleton, Melvin "Sam" Dresser, Robin Huffman, and Alan White.

AGENCY DIRECTORS ABSENT: Scott Lotter, Chairman.

STAFF PRESENT: Acting Agency Secretary Gutierrez, Executive Director Rough, and Agency Counsel Moore.

2. AGENCY CONSIDERATION

 

Agenda Item 2(a): MOTION by Culleton, seconded by White, approved the Minutes of the 8/9/05 Regular RDA Meeting. Roll call vote was unanimous with Chairman Lotter absent and not voting.

 

Agenda Item 2(b): MOTION by White, seconded by Huffman, authorized the Executive Director to execute the "Agreement for Professional Services" with Questa Engineering/Northstar Engineering regarding engineering services for the Phase 1 Engineering for the Downtown Revitalization Area Cluster Wastewater Treatment & Disposal System at a base cost of $156,800.00. Roll call vote was unanimous with Chairman Lotter absent and not voting.

 

3. PUBLIC COMMUNICATION

 

None.

 

4. DIRECTOR INITIATIVES

 

Agenda Item 4(a): During the June 29, 2005, Special RDA Meeting to adopt the Budget for FY2005-2006, Director Huffman inadvertently did not state for the record that she was against the transfer of the payment of $5,353 to the Tri-County Economic Development Corp. for grant administration from the Town Council budget to the Redevelopment Agency Budget and wishes to go on record as being against that transfer. No action was required of the Redevelopment Agency Board.

 

5. ADJOURNMENT

 

MOTION by White, seconded by Culleton, adjourned the Redevelopment Agency Regular Meeting at p.m. Agency vote was unanimous with Chairman Lotter absent and not voting.
