‘Safe Streets for Paradise’ Project Prioritization Tool is Now Live

Paradise, CA: After launching a ‘Safe Streets for Paradise’ community campaign in fall 2018, the Town of Paradise is moving into the next phase of the effort, again seeking community input. On Thursday, April 12, 2018 our website,, was updated with a new online tool allowing residents to help prioritize potential safety projects which are important to them. These projects were formulated from a statistical analysis into historical collision data while considering the extensive public feedback to date. The objective of this interactive tool is to reach as many community members as possible to help lead the Town’s limited resources and budget as we seek future grant opportunities.

Residents may access the tool by visiting and clicking on the “Provide Input” heading in the upper right corner of the page. From there, you can click on the link for the active tool or review feedback we have received in our prior online tool.

The comment period will extend through May 4, 2018 – with results presented in a final report this summer.

Funding for this effort is provided by the California Department of Transportation, Highway Safety Improvement Program.
