Town of Paradise

BURNING WITHIN THE TOWN LIMITS HAS BEEN EXTENDED

 BURING PERMIT EXTENSION

Due to the recent wet weather wildland fire potential within Town remains low. To take advantage of the current increased vegetation moisture and assist property owners in removing vegetation to increasing defensible space the Fire Chief has extended the burn period through June 9th, 2019. All required terms and conditions of use for burn permits remain in effect. On June 10th, 2019 the seasonal burn ban will be implemented.

GREEN WASTE DISPOASAL

  • The Paradise Fire Department encourages property owners to continue with removal of excess vegetative fuel and green waste from properties year around. Remove of such fuel helps reduce the wildfire risk and creates defensible space around homes. During the seasonal burn ban, property owner can dispose of such vegetation waste at any green waste disposal facility in Butte County.
