Kid's Fishing Day

The Paradise Irrigation District is proud to present it's Annual Kid's Fishing Day in April of each year at Paradise Lake.  This event is open to kids ages 3-15.  The day is full of raffles, prizes, and a convenient snack bar.  

In prior years, up to 1,200 children have attended this event, and over 100 prizes were given away.  Over 2,000 lbs of fish are planted for the kids to catch.  Kid's Fishing Day is sponsored by generous community businesses who donate cash, food or prizes that are used to support the event and a grant from the Butte County Fish and Game Commission.  Proceeds raised through donations and the snack bar are used to purchase fish for the following year's event.
