Residential Landscape Plans

Through the Wildfire Resiliency and Recovery Planning Grant from the State Department of Conservation in partnership with the CA Strategic Growth Council and the Governor's Office of Planning and Research, The Town of Paradise is happy to share front yard landscape plans for residential lots. Plans are free and available to download for your property. For single family residences a landscape permit is not required . All plans are designed by Gates & Associates to meet MWELO standards.

These landscape plans maximize residents landscape success by identifying practical plant palettes well adapted to the soils and climate of Paradise.

The plants used have low water needs to reduce the need for pruning and maintenance. The root systems are not invasive, in the interest of keeping a functioning septic system. These plans are designed to meet the Town's defensible space regulations which lower fire risk.
