Emergency Warning System Update – In-Home Units Now Available for Pickup!
Many residents have shared that it can be difficult to hear the Emergency Warning Sirens (EWS) from inside their homes. To help improve indoor audibility, the Town of Paradise is offering a limited number of in-home siren units at no cost to Paradise residents, made possible through a Hazard Mitigation Grant from FEMA and CalOES.
These plug-in units provide audio + visual alerts when outdoor sirens are activated.
Pick up at Town Hall during normal business hours
No pre-registration required
Units are available on a first-come, first-served basis for Town of Paradise residents only, so don’t wait—get yours while supplies last!
Once we gauge community interest, we will share details on the distribution process.
