Graywater System

Graywater Landscape

Graywater systems are great for decreasing annual household potable water use and reducing the overall burden on private onsite wastewater treatment systems.  Water from showers, bath tubs, washing machines, and bathroom sinks is all considered "Graywater" that can be diverted for landscape use and away from filling up our septic tanks.  Studies show that graywater use in landscaping can potentially decrease potable water use by approximately 17 gallons per person per day.  This is a great way to reduce our annual water utility bill and become more conscious of water conservation methods which helps improve our sustainability overall.
