For Immediate Release: Warrant Arrest After Nine Years

For nearly nine years, one individual managed to stay off law enforcement's radar while carrying an outstanding felony warrant. This week, that streak came to an end.

Officers recently located and arrested a man wanted on felony charges including Possession of Over 600 Obscene Images Depicting a Minor Engaged in Sexual Acts and Possession of Obscene Matter Depicting a Minor in Sexual Sadism.

The warrant had remained active for almost a decade, and despite the passage of time, investigators never stopped pursuing leads and opportunities to locate him. In the early morning hours of 6/4/2026 officers successfully located the suspect and took him into custody without incident.

The suspect has since been booked on the outstanding warrant and will appear before the court to answer for the charges.

This arrest serves as a reminder that warrants do not expire simply because time passes. Whether it's nine days, nine months, or nine years, law enforcement remains committed to holding individuals accountable and seeking justice for victims.

As with all criminal cases, the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
