Parade of Flags

Skyway and Elliot Roads are lined with American flags as a fire truck drives alongside them

The Paradise Parade of Flags is a community tradition honoring the men and women who have served, and continue to serve, in the United States Armed Forces. Through the efforts of 11 volunteer organizations from across the Paradise Ridge, approximately 1,100 American flags are displayed along Skyway and Elliott Road throughout the year.

Flags are typically displayed on four patriotic observances:

  • Memorial Day
  • Flag Day
  • Independence Day (July 4)
  • Veterans Day

Weather permitting, the flags are displayed from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., creating a memorable and patriotic tribute for residents and visitors alike.
