For Immediate Release: Social Media Incident With Inappropriate Images
Date: March 13, 2026
The Paradise Police Department is aware of inappropriate material that was recently shared with several
students through social media. We are currently working closely with local school administration to
investigate the situation and ensure the safety and well-being of all students involved.
At this time, officers and school officials have begun contacting students known to be involved, along with
their parents/guardians. This remains an active investigation, and additional information may continue to
come forward.
We want to emphasize that any students who may have received these images or videos are considered
victims. Our priority is to ensure that affected students feel safe, supported, and comfortable reporting
what occurred.
We encourage parents and guardians to speak with their children about their online activity and to review
their phones and social media accounts with them. Open conversations about what children may
encounter online can be an important step in helping protect them from harmful or inappropriate content.
If your child received any of these images or videos, or if you believe they may have additional information
related to this incident, please contact your school administration or the Paradise Police Department.
Students who may have received the material are encouraged to come forward so that we can ensure
the situation is addressed appropriately.
We appreciate the cooperation of parents, students, and school staff as we work together to address this
matter and help keep our community’s students safe.
The school administration and the Paradise Police Department will continue to work collaboratively to
maintain a safe learning environment for all students in our community.
